My cat likes his change of food, so hope it helps his condition.

This is for our cat, molly who is sadly diabetic. She loves the taste which is quite lucky as she has to have it. We often mix it with burns cat food as this helps to keep her weight down.

Our diabetic cat no longer needs insulin since on these biscuits. Cat seems happy to eat same biscuits day after day3. Here are the specifications for the Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Cat Food Diabetic 3:

  • Formulated specifically to help manage post-prandial blood glucose.
  • Invludes a high protein content to maintain muscle mass.
  • Contains a reduced level of starch.
  • Includes a moderate calorie content.

We adopted a stray cat and we found out two months ago that he has diabetes, we have tried nearly every prescription diet on the market and he hated all of them. In desperation and after reading the reviews i thought it must be worth a try and i’m so glad i did, he loves it and he doesn’t need any encouragement to eat it. I am so glad that we have found this food as it has taken some of the stress away from caring for a diabetic cat.

My lot don’t normally touch anything that is remotely lower fat but they absolutely love this. So do the neighbouring cats. I bought this as a diabetic cat from up the road comes round and eats the biscuits i leave out for my own cats as i didn’t want to be the cause of him being ill.     I have a diabetic cat with strong views. I actually mix this with the only other brand of diabetic cat food and it gets duly scoffed. Wonderful to be able to get this from amazon, so huge thanks there.
