Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal Cat 48 x 100g – Pouches : Expensive but did the trick for my cat

Sick cats with runny tummies?. Sick cats with runny tummies?. This is expensive but it smells edible enough for humans. It works for cats with sensitive digestions too.

My 17 year old cat has been diagnosed with acute ibs for the last two years. He is very tricky to manage and is regularly sick and has very runny poo. His life was a bit of a misery and he was rag and bones. The vets have told me on a number of occasions to prepare for the worst. I constantly search for anything that can be an improvement to the life he leads and finally i came upon this. It is not a miracle cure by any means but it has been life changing for all of us. Three months ago i would not have even contemplated leaving him to be cat sat for more than a night. Having been on this food for a while now though i find that he it so much stronger, sick much less often and his offerings in the litter tray are pretty much always firm.

Much cheaper than the vet, certainly seems to help our cat’s digestive problems.

I bought this product because i was told its healthy for my cat. My cat tried the first two pouches and since then he hasn’t touched it. This product is really pricey and its a shame that my cat wont eat it now. What a waste that the whole box is just sitting there.

Pricey, but the only food that agrees with the constitution of our delicate bengal.

    1. Expensive but did the trick for my cat. Initially this was prescribed for my (quite old) cat by my vet, as it suffered terrible bought of diarrhea. It made an immediate difference and subsequently when i found i could buy it on amazon i have kept my cat on a 50/50 mix of this and normal food. It is very expensive, but ever since he has been eating it everything has been solidits worth mentioning that after a while my cat decided he didn’t really like the food, so now i have to mash it up in a mix with the normal food to get him to eat it.

Just what the vet orderd for my cat to aid her recovery. . But cheaper than the vet sells it for .
      1. Fed this to my kitten on vet advice following blood in stool suspected colitis. Got over any probs eating it quite quickly, he’s happy enough with it now. Very expensive at £10 per box as opposed to whiskas at £2. I note people are saying it filled up their cat but mine just seem to be wolfing every meal, no matter how much or how regularly i feed them. Possibly because they are growing but still it’s non-stop. Slight improvement in firmness of stools.

Excellent to help our aged cat cope with cystic colitis. Excellent to help our aged cat cope with cystic colitis. We use both the wet and dry formulas in this range. As soon as we try a different type of cat food, her symptoms return so she will be on it for the rest of her life.

      1. Unfortunately the cat that it was bought for. Unfortunately the cat that it was bought for will not touch it but our senior cat stopped being sick after we have changed her diet to the royal canin gi diet. It is not her favourite food but she feels much better now.
