We own 2 house cats and it isn’t easy to try and keep them at their ideal weight. We switched from hill’s ‘normal’ dry food to hill’s light and it’s had a noticeable effect on their weight. They really do like the taste too and as it has been recommended by the vet we know the cats are getting all of the nutrition that they require.

The cat loves this food – no waste like you get with tinned or pouch food where if it dries out at all the cat won’t touch it and more ends up in the bin than in the cat. He’s on the ‘light’ food because i suspect he eats at some of the neighbours’ houses too so don’t want him to have too many calories. Plus he’s not as active as he was when he was younger so the light food seems to work well.

This seller was great , got item within 3 days , plus beat all other prices on the the net and around local shops.

Expected quality at a very good price. Would definitely use this seller again. I know the product, so nothing particular to write about it. For those who have never used science diet – cats love it and look healthy and sleek. However, one of mine just loves it so much that she doesn’t seem to lose weight, but that’s another story.

I am not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing but i dont think it. I bought this to try to reduce my cat from getting fat, it has 3 main feature, low fat and calories,control hunger lvl and really tasty. I am not sure about the first two points but my cat loves it so much, she is eating double as she used to. I am not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing but i dont think it can control my cat’s hunger lvl, she keeps asking for more and more of this cat food but one thing without a doubt, its really tasty.

Hill’s Cat Food Light Adult Chicken Dry Mix 1.5 kg : This is very good and my cat loves it. My cat is an indoor cat and the indoor food is much better as his poo’s are not so smelly. I did have trouble with the delivery and needed to pay for it twice and then get a refund which they did promptly.

    We only use small bits as treats as cats won’t use their teeth much for small bits.

      1. I use this a part of a kibble mix for my hedgehogs so this is the packet size i need. I can’t get this size over the counter.

    We have 2 large cats and this keeps their weight under control and our vet is very impressed with how the cat’s weights have come down to the correct levels. Cats are also a lot happier being the right weight – play more and just seem more contentnot the cheapest food but cheap does not always = value.

    Both of my cats enjoy this food as one in particular will only eat dry food (which keeps her weight down). However, my household is suffering from reduced income so can’t afford to buy this food anymore.

    Excellent dry cat food which is ideal for neutered cats. They seem to like it and it doesn’t make them put on too much weight while protecting their urinary tract. Add to that the fact that amazon sell it at a lower price and deliver to your door free.
