My two cats adore the broth but is not going to consume the meat / fish at all in fact with the chicken a person i squeeze the pack jointly all the broth and depart the chicken in i’m at the moment searching to see if any person can make a broth or gravy incidentally they both dwell on dried food and is not going to eat wet only to lick gravy or jelly off. They are persian rescues from egypt # attempted each individual make going xx.

  1. I did add a bit of plain boiled rice but seeing her lick her bowl clean and the difference in her physical appearance was wonderful. Had to look after a rescue cat who had been so mistreated that eating was difficult after a lot of dental work due to abuse by former ‘owners’. As the other furries are huge fans of all things gourmet i thought this might be a life saver – which it really was. I had introduced her to their pate range but wanted to try something with texture yet nutritious and this ticked all the boxes. I did add a bit of plain boiled rice but seeing her lick her bowl clean and the difference in her physical appearance was wonderful. Chunks of fish, prawn (that went down well), veg, and the broth which she just lapped up – well worth the spend.

    I have just purchased a months supply of this gourmet soup after i received a free packet of this with our grocery home delivery. Oli our cat really loved it. He is a very fussy eater and when i poured it into a bowl i was doubtful he would like it as it looks runny and exactly like soup with bits of fish pieces in it. This in my opinion is more a small treat for a cat rather than a meal. I sincerely hope that oli continues to like it. I will update this review in a few weeks and see if his enthusiasm is still the same. Some of the relevant information on the back of the 40gram sachet says to shake the pouch first, serve one pouch per day as a complement to other complete products from purina and this food is suitable for 4kg cat.

      1. They love the gravy, leave the meat. They love the gravy, but not such big fans of the meat. They eat more of the meat if i mash it up before giving it to them, but in that case, i am better off just sticking to the gourmet gold pate varieties, which they eat well. The food does look very nice – small strips/chunks of tuna and whole/half anchovy fillets. But my cats don’t seem to eat with their eyes.

    They love the gravy, leave the meat. They love the gravy, but not such big fans of the meat. They eat more of the meat if i mash it up before giving it to them, but in that case, i am better off just sticking to the gourmet gold pate varieties, which they eat well. The food does look very nice – small strips/chunks of tuna and whole/half anchovy fillets. But my cats don’t seem to eat with their eyes.

    1. Five stars seems to mean that “i love it”. After he’s eaten a pouch from a plate, i keep joking with my wife that the plate is clean again and i can put it back in the cupboard. I expect my wife will eventually get annoyed with this joke. The cat, however, won’t care and will just keep cleaning plates when he’s given this.

The one from the supermarket had some “juice” in it (but not like the consommé in the to ad) so i placed an order here which arrived today. There is hardly any liquid in the pouch, it is completely different to the supermarket one and the cats turned their noses up at it today. The only thing i can think of is to perhaps add some water to it. I was at let expecting it to be the same consistency, so all in all, a bit disappointed.
