Shame it took so long to get it.

Cat food very good cats love it as always but. Cat food very good cats love it as always. But my fault on ordering as looked at the photo and wrongly assumed 24 was x 2 even in the description under was very misleading. But like i said my fault for not reading small print etc. 69 for six cans in waitrose so thought i was getting a better bargain on line but how wrong was i.

I have purchased this pack as it was recommended on my cat forum. I was happy to take a chance that my cats may not like it and i did in fact think i’d wasted my money when my two both refused to eat it at first. However, i persisted and they soon had second thoughts. They are both loving it now. One cat eats it in preference to all other food offered. I obtained my pack from another source as it was cheaper at 45p per can. I understand that this food is made of meat products and all the labelled flavours are essentially the same with a small amount (4%) of the indicated flavour added. There are no grains and other fillers so it should be a better food than the usual brands. I have not yet discovered a downside to this food so would recommend giving it a try.

At last i have found the right cat food for my three cats, they all love this,no waste, so a bargain, i have tried countless brands but this is the one.

All my cats love it, excellent value.

Butcher’s Classic Cat Variety Pack Mixed 24x400g : Our cats really liked this cat food. Our only complaint was that the packaging failed completely. We contacted the seller about this and they said they would strengthen it in future.

  1. Inexpensive average cat can-food. . My cat mildly enjoyed this food, even if she’s not really fussy. I don’t know either if that’s because the packaged cans arrived half crushed and chipped, or because the meat itself is not tasty/good enough. I am not sure if i’ll buy this again.

    One of the better quality canned cat food. . This is my go to cat food when i forget to order her frozen raw food. I always have a stock of it in.

    Food is good a lot of the tins were badly dented , seems to be poor handling.

    1. Excellent cat food – just natural meat, nothing else. . Cats are pure carnivores as their bodies can only digest meat. However, most cat foods (especially dry foods) have added fillers to bulk up the foods. Its a way for cat food companies to avoid using just pure meat which is more expensive than plant ingredients. Much of these plant fillers include grains, cereals, wheat, soya, together with sugars and various artificial ingredients. Cats cannot digest plants or vegetable material, and such ingredients can cause various health problems in cats including diabetes and gingivitis. Butchers classic is one of the few cat food that contains just natural meat and nothing else. Many of the bigger cat food companies have larger advertising funding, despite their products containing plant materials that are not good for cats. Recent research by vet specialists at the university of glasgow is starting to show how cat food can make all the difference with the health of a cat. Unfortunately there has been very little studies done on cat food in the past.
